Urbanics Consultants Ltd. conducted a comprehensive housing market analysis for the Northwest Burke Vision (NBV) area. The NBV area includes roughly 990 acres of the last remaining undeveloped lands on Burke Mountain. This study examined a wide variety of demographic and housing characteristics of the City of Coquitlam and Northeast Coquitlam, to determine the effective housing demand as well as the potential, feasible housing types and a phasing program for the NBV area, over the next 30 years. The study also developed a comprehensive demographic and socio-economic profile of the City and, in particular, Northeast Coquitlam and examined the current housing market supply demand characteristics and development trends.
