Urbanics was commissioned by Morguard Investments to conduct a Development Opportunity Study to assess the various market forces that pertain to the redevelopment of Coquitlam Centre into a major tier one Regional Town Centre. Our report reviewed all land uses with the exception of industrial, with a study period extending to 2041. Urbanics principal finds were that Coquitlam Centre had the potential to become a Regional Town Centre that would rival other major retail centres in the region. Our firm also recommended encouraging the development of a major health or education sector to complement commercial and residential land uses.
