North Cariboo and City of Quesnel Housing Needs Assessment

The City of Quesnel retained Urbanics for its provincially mandated Housing Needs Report. Urbanics created an extensive survey of demographic and housing trends in Quesnel and the surrounding region. In addition to fufilling the provincial requirements, Urbanics identified housing issues and recommended solutions such as a lack of serviced lands, a rapidly aging population, and slowing population growth. The final report included strategies to address non-market housing needs, enhance the supply of rental housing, and maintain the quality of the current housing stock, among other concerns.
